Plumbing and Comics

WAY too much going on these past few weeks with no particular sign of an ebb any time soon. The Readers' Digest version (with promise of more later)...

On plumbing/home repairs -- I think it's covered very simply by Mazur's 15th Law: Nothing Can Ever Be Simple... But it's nice to have hot water again.

On the NY Comic Con -- Wow. Just wow. Oh, also, NYC is freakin' expensive. And cold. Very, very cold. Also, Gary Coleman is an angry, angry little man...

More on both (with photos!) to follow.

I saw a picture of him at Comicon in Wired and he does look like angry and somewhat resigned.

Mazur's 14th Law states that "It can always be worse", so feel lucky that you dodged it by just one law. I await the tale of carnage and woe with baited beath (eeewww, bait breath is digusting)

Actually Jado, we totally live up to the 14th law - they busted our water heater, broke a sink (and didn't mention that water was flooding out when they left for the day), got paint on the big TV, painted the ceiling-repairs in high-gloss paint, etc, etc, etc. but at least we haven't paid them yet!
